Thoughts and Actions That Matter: Training in Cultural Humility/Competency and Discussions of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion

Hosted by the Diversity Committee of the Family Law Section, Diversity in the Profession Committee, Public Interest Section, and Young Lawyers' Division

This is a program no one should miss! The first hour of the program begins with training and guidance in cultural humility/competency. Attendees will gain a greater understanding of their interactions with people of diverse backgrounds and different identity groups along with learning strategies on how to be mindful of their own biases before making decisions.  The second hour offers a dynamic and open discussion of diversity, equality, and inclusion, the impact on your clients, practices, and personal lives and why the integration of diversity, equality, and inclusion matters. Attendees will be able to use the chat feature to ask questions and offer comments.

Attend this program and gain a better understanding of Cultural Humility/Competency, how it affects interactions and decision-makings, as well as the actions needed to better integrate diversity, equality and inclusion into your practice.
